Sharon has spent over ten years advising Local Authorities and have gained vital experience in representing both the Local Authorities and direct access clients at the Court of Protection. In addition, Sharon has represented Local Authorities in complex Court of Protection cases and have considerable experience in drafting welfare applications, financial deputy applications, forced marriage, ordinary residence disputes and deprivation of assets and cases with issues of capacity and mental health.

Sharon is able to transfer her experience gained from her Court of Protection practice into her family law practice in which she specialises in all areas of Public and Private Law Children cases and is regularly instructed by parents, extended family members and guardians.

Sharon also represents Applicants and Respondents in applications for non-molestation orders and occupation orders including urgent hearings and final hearings.

Throughout Sharon’s career she has represented clients in First Tier, Upper Tier and the High Court.

Sharon is pleased to accept instructions on a Direct Access basis.
